Tarot Wednesday - I love old cards!

So I have in my collection the deck seen in the etsy listing below. It is called The Cards of Winds and Changes by Judith Pintar published in 1996 or 1997 and they are simple and yet complex with line imagery that conveys so much meaning.

Seven Card Meditation Spread by ReadingsByKat
This deck is a set of 49 cards based on the seven directions of the Ojibwe, a Native American people of the Great Lakes. The seven card spread pictured above is designed to deeply examine each direction of a single question or situation you are facing, providing insight and information. These cards are out of print and rare and provide a unique experience.

When I first saw this deck ages and ages ago I fell in love with it and have enjoyed working through the challenge of reading through First Nations imagery. It's not easy for me to connect with the deeper meanings of these cards in a way that translates well to words and communication with the client. However, this reading is not meant to solve a problem but more to open the eyes of the querent to the situations around them. Below is a link to the companion book as well.
